Touchdown main line obtained its name as a result of the increased amount of ‘feel’ that it gives you when your lead hits the bottom. Knowing that you are fishing on an area where you can present a bait effectively, and being able to get a drop that you are happy with, are essential, and this is achieved by getting a good ‘drop’ when you feel your lead down to the bottom.

That has been achieved by reducing the amount of stretch in this monofilament main line, whilst still maintaining a high degree of abrasion resistance and good casting performance. It also sinks very well and has a high knot strength, making it a great choice for use in any fishing situation. It comes in a choice of low visibility green or brown, so that it can be matched to the type lakebed and water colouration on the venues you are fishing.

A choice of breaking strains – 10lb, 12lb, 15lb, and 20lb - covers all fishing situations, from fishing at long range through to very weedy or snaggy venues. Each spool contains 1000m of line.
